About the role
As a Staff Engineer on Agent Runtime, you own the heart of the Agentic OS, the execution engine that orchestrates agents and swarms reliably, safely, and at scale.
This is a Staff role on our Platform Engineering team, London · Remote.
What you'll do
- Design and build the agent/swarm execution engine, scheduling, state, tool-calling, and HITL gates.
- Make multi-agent orchestration reliable, observable and recoverable in production.
- Define the runtime APIs that the applied-AI and FDE teams build on.
- Set the engineering bar for the platform team as we scale.
What we're looking for
- Deep distributed-systems and backend experience; you've built reliable execution/orchestration systems.
- Strong opinions on API design, observability and failure handling.
- Experience with LLM/agent runtimes a strong plus.
- Staff-level technical leadership and mentorship.
