About the role
As a Senior Engineer on Knowledge Architecture, you build the layered knowledge system, organisational, functional and user tiers, and the retrieval that makes agents accurate and governed.
This is a Senior role on our Platform Engineering team, London · Remote.
What you'll do
- Build and scale the three-tier knowledge architecture and its retrieval pipelines.
- Design ingestion, chunking, indexing and governed access across customer knowledge bases.
- Improve retrieval quality with rigorous evaluation, not vibes.
- Ensure no customer data leaves its environment, retrieval is governed by design.
What we're looking for
- Strong experience building RAG / retrieval systems in production.
- Solid grasp of vector stores, embeddings, evaluation and data governance.
- Backend engineering depth and a quality-first mindset.
- Care for correctness in regulated contexts.
