About the role
As a Senior Engineer on the Compliance Engine, you turn EU AI Act articles and enterprise policy into executable controls that fire at inference, generate audit automatically, and never depend on a review board's calendar.
This is a Senior role on our Trust & Compliance team, London · Remote.
What you'll do
- Build the policy engine that enforces compliance and HITL gates at runtime.
- Encode EU AI Act (Art. 5 and 9-15), GDPR Art. 35 and customer policy as executable controls.
- Generate immutable, auditor-grade audit trails for every model call and agent action.
- Work with GRC to keep the control library current as regulation moves.
What we're looking for
- Strong backend engineering plus genuine interest in governance and policy.
- Ability to read a regulation and model it as code.
- Rigour and care, this is the moat.
- Bonus: prior RegTech, security, or compliance-tooling experience.
