About Deliverance AI

Deliverance AI is the production AI platform company. We exist because 94% of enterprises fail to scale AI — not for lack of ambition or budget, but for lack of platform, governance, and delivery capability. We close the gap between AI investment and AI production for enterprises across regulated industries including pharma and biotech, financial services, retail, telecommunications, and logistics.

Our proprietary nine-layer platform — built around three core capabilities: Clarity (see everything), Govern (control everything), and Accelerate (ship everything) — is deployed inside customer environments with live workloads running on it from day one. We are not a consultancy that writes strategy decks. We are not a staffing firm that lends contractors. We are an engineering-led company with proprietary platform IP, a growing agent marketplace, and 15+ pre-built AI blueprints that cut months off delivery timelines.

Our engagement model is simple: Assess (4 weeks), Deploy (12–16 weeks), Operate (ongoing). Dedicated engineering pods own delivery end-to-end. Every deployment compounds the platform. Every use case ships faster than the last. Governed, observable, and delivering value from day one.

About the role

The Sales Development Representative is the tip of the spear for Deliverance AI's revenue engine. You will identify, research, and engage prospective enterprise customers who are stuck between AI ambition and AI production — then qualify those conversations into genuine opportunities for our Account Executives.

This is not a volume-dialling role. Our target buyers are CTOs, VPs of Engineering, Heads of AI, and Chief Data Officers at UK and European enterprises with £1B+ revenue across pharma, financial services, retail, telecoms, and logistics. Success requires a research-driven, intelligent outreach approach that demonstrates you understand their world — the board pressure to show AI results, the EU AI Act compliance deadline in August 2026, the 65% of AI tools running without IT approval, and the reality that 88% of AI projects never reach production.

Your primary goal is to book qualified Assessment opportunities — a 4-week AI Production Readiness Assessment that sits below most procurement thresholds and serves as our trust-building entry point. As an early hire, you will have a direct hand in building the outbound playbook, defining ideal customer profiles, and shaping how Deliverance AI's brand lands in the enterprise market.

What you will do

  • Research and identify target accounts across pharma, financial services, retail, telecoms, and logistics — mapping organisational structures and identifying CTOs, VPs of Engineering, Heads of AI, and CDOs.
  • Craft and execute personalised outbound campaigns via email, LinkedIn, phone, and event-based touchpoints that resonate with senior technology leaders dealing with the AI production gap.
  • Qualify inbound leads from marketing activities, website enquiries, partner referrals, and event attendance.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Deliverance AI's platform capabilities (Clarity, Govern, Accelerate), engagement model, blueprints, and agent marketplace to articulate value in early-stage conversations.
  • Book and support discovery meetings for Account Executives, providing thorough briefing notes on the prospect's AI maturity, regulatory context, and potential use cases.
  • Track and manage all pipeline activity in CRM, maintaining accurate data on outreach cadences, conversion rates, and pipeline contribution.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on campaign messaging, event strategy, and content that drives awareness among target personas.
  • Monitor industry developments — EU AI Act timelines, regulatory enforcement actions, competitor announcements, and customer AI investment signals — to identify timely outreach opportunities.

What we are looking for

  • 1–3 years of experience in a sales development, business development, or inside sales role, ideally in B2B technology or enterprise software.
  • A demonstrable ability to research accounts, understand complex organisational structures, and craft outreach that cuts through noise with senior buyers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — you can write a compelling cold email and hold a credible conversation with a CTO about why 88% of AI projects fail to reach production.
  • Intellectual curiosity about AI, enterprise platforms, and governance — you do not need to be a technical expert, but you need to want to learn and speak credibly about the production AI gap.
  • Resilience and self-motivation — outbound prospecting into enterprise accounts requires persistence, creativity, and a thick skin.
  • Comfort with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms.
  • An understanding of regulated industries and why governance, compliance, and data sovereignty matter to enterprise buyers facing EU AI Act deadlines.
  • Startup energy — you are excited by the opportunity to build something from the ground up and are not waiting for a playbook to be handed to you.
